Our Committee

Haunted Devon has a small committee that takes care of the day to day running of the group. You can find out more about the team by clicking below
Graham Chapman - Chairman
Graham has been interested in the paranormal since an early age. He grew up watching TV shows like 'Arthur C Clarkes Mysterious World' and reading the 'Unexplained' magazine. A scientist by profession, Graham takes a sceptical view on all things paranormal and likes to be shown 'real proof' before drawing on any conclusions.
He has been chairperson of Haunted Devon for over three years and has seen the team grow in experience and capability. Also keen on sea angling and collects vinyl records (remember those??) – he has one of the largest collections of old school hip hop in the UK!
Secretary - Di Trotter

I first became interested in the paranormal as a child whilst watching the late night horrors on a Saturday night with my dad. I have read
many books and watched various tv programmes and films but only started investigating early last year after winning a prize in a competition.
I remember being absolutely terrified prior to my first investigation having no idea what to expect. I enjoyed every minute and was
well and truly hooked! I joined HD in May of last year and in January took on the role of Club Secretary. I am a 'sceptical believer' but am finding the more investigations I attend the more sceptical I am becoming ... I need that full apparition now!
Yolanda Jones - Treasurer

Yolanda joined Haunted Devon in April 2010, becoming club treasurer in June 2011. She is a registered veterinary nurse by profession and
lives in North Devon with her husband, Andrew, and black Labrador Conan. She describes herself as open minded when it comes to investigating and has a fondness for lone vigils! Her favourite theories are the stone tape theory and the psychokinesis theory. Famous cases that have interested her greatly are the Borley Rectory case and the Enfield Poltergeist case. In her spare time she loves listening to music, cooking and spoiling her niece and goddaughter Molly!
Neil Jewell - Technical Manager / Web Master

Neil joined the committee in January 2012 having joined as a member in 2011, he is an operations manager in the world of data analytics, and
is also a qualified photographer having some of his work published in magazines.
For me the investigation is only the first part of the paranormal experience, the second part is analysing all the audio and video footage after,
which has produced some interesting and unexplainable happenings...footsteps, voices and things that go bump in the night!
Eve Gerry - Venues Manager

My name is Yvonne Gerry, but those of you that know me well, will know I prefer to be called...... Eve.
I became part of the HD Committee in January 2012, when I became your Venues Manager for this year. A position which at first was rather daunting, mainly because of the amount of behind the scenes work involved. Surprisingly, I have found it rather rewarding, hard at times, but never-the-less rewarding.
I truly think the support of a great committee, loyal members and good friends, help me to fulfil this role to the best of my ability. I have been a member of Haunted Devon for nearly 3 years. When I joined HD I was a total believer, now nearly 3 years on, I feel I am more of a sceptic. I have a very open mind and a longing to experience something unexplainable..............who knows............maybe one day..........soon!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully, I'll see you at the Venues I will be working hard to find to Investigate!!!!!!!
