Haunted Devon is committed to providing sound and reliable paranormal investigative skills in order to increase awareness of the paranormal in Devon. Our goal is to become one of the leading paranormal teams in the country and to continually advance and develop upon our skill set. Our promise to you is that we will always do our best to foster a good working relationship between those that believe and those who are sceptical and to deliver investigations that are respectful, accurate and above all safe for all who attend.

All reputable paranormal groups will hold Public Liability Insurance.  If you are a venue owner PLEASE request sight of the insurance documentation prior to allowing groups into your property. Individual insurance policies may NOT cover group activity especially out of public hours.

Welcome to Haunted Devon - Devon's very own website devoted to the paranormal in Devon and events that occur within or beyond its boundaries. The aim of this website will be to provide you the reader photographic, video or audio evidence in order that you can decide if you "truly believe".  Why not join us? We are one of the largest and most successful teams in the South West and have some great venues lined up.  We are a friendly and experienced team with years of experience who have full access to some of the UK's top venues who also hold an international reputation.

News

Woodchester Mansion was the destination for Haunted Devon and medium Gavin Cromwell in 2008.  Footage of Gavin carrying out a "lone" vigil has just been released and you can view it by clicking the image to the right.  The video contains bad language from the outset and remains uncut!.  It just goes to show that mediums do get scared! Gavin is pictured here with David Wells.

Haunted Devon USA tour

Haunted Devon recently returned from a tour of the US where we have been working closely with the New England Ghost Project.  Investigations included the Windham Restaurant - New Hampshire, The Lizzie Bordon house the scene of the infamous double axe murder and the Nutswood Estate.  Our sincere thanks to Ron Kolek and the team in the US for their hospitality. About us

Haunted Devon was formed in 2005 by Byron Jackson and a small team of dedicated paranormal investigators. Since that time Haunted Devon has grown and developed in many ways including our technical skills and abilities which are second to none. Our reputation is excellent and we have received good media coverage for our work. We were the first group to have worked in many of the English Heritage properties and also Plymouth Gin here in Plymouth. Our television work has included ITV West Country News, a two part documentary entitled "Believe it or not" with ITV, BBC Spotlight and HDNet a US cable company. We have appeared in the September 2006  "PARANORMAL" magazine and numerous local newspapers.

Our area of interest

Haunted Devon are based in undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary counties in Great Britain from the mysterious Dartmoor to the pitted coastline from which smugglers operated Devon has often been slow to reveal it's many secrets and legends.  Although Haunted Devon operate predominantly within Devon they can and often have investigated locations anywhere  in the UK. Haunted Devon are a responsible paranormal group we do not condone vigil activity that would be seen as aggressive, provocative or insulting.  We will work alongside any other paranormal group that we consider share our passion for the unknown.  All of our members are "real" people from all walks of life. Our mediums are experienced and have been working in the field for many years and this coupled with our technical team has ensured the success of the team.

Lewtrenchard Manor Lewtrenchard is in no doubt a truly beautiful location with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Inside the Manor it is certainly difficult to get away from the Haunted Manor mindset that could pre-empt the fear factor at an investigation with the gothic fireplaces and wooden floors and panels.
